The rehabilitation, conversion and extension of ten Grade II listed house for the ethnic minority Bangladeshi community in East London. The interior planning of the dwellings paid particular attention to the needs of the large extended families, whilst at the same time satisfying the requirements of English Heritage.

The rear elevations have new extensions incorporating bathrooms and shower rooms carried out in a modern style, though using traditional materials. The retained elements of the main elevation have been carefully restored to their original detailing.
