The Sick Children’s Trust at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge A project for a new building containing accommodation for the parents of children being treated in the hospital. The scheme provides nine bedrooms together with bathrooms and an office for the house manager. A communal kitchen is the focus of the ground floor plan, with a dining room, sitting/tv room and play room. Facilities for the disabled are provided on the ground floor. The construction theory is based on "green" principles with insulation levels substantially above Building Regulation standards.
