The Sick Children’s Trust at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel Another scheme for the charity who provide accommodation for families of children who are patients in the hospital, this involved the conversion of 3 derelict and narrow terraced Edwardian houses into a spacious modern facility, and provided 12 bedrooms plus communal living/kitchen areas, together with new head office premises for the Trust. The benefit to parents and children alike of having homely surroundings only a short distance from the hospital wards is widely recognised.
